The Players
Two police officers with over a decade of service and impeccable records. One bartender with a drinking problem and an abusive boyfriend. A he-said- she said case full of lies and deceit on the part of everyone involved, with the exception of the two men who are now in prison on a 17.5 year mandatory minimum sentence each: for the charge of 2nd degree sexual assault. John Sickels denied it during the first hours of DCI interrogation- then admitted that a consensual sex act occurred. The state based their entire case on that initial denial of the truth. Then proved themselves to be liars.
